2025 STJ Golf Tournament Recap

The Madelia Health Foundation St. James Tournament was held on Tuesday, June 10th. This year, the tournament was held at St. James Golf Course, the first time an 18-hole tournament has been done.  86 golfers were on the course in support of Madelia Health. The golf outing raised over $33,000 – an all time high! This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our generous sponsors:

Living Meadows emerged victorious in this year’s tournament, edging out Dave Walz and Team Culligan with an impressive score of 56.

🏆 Top Highlights:

• 9th Place: A tie-breaker gave the spot to Brandon Miller’s team, proudly sponsored by AssuredPartners & R1.
• 16th Place: Claimed by Birdie Juice from Madelia Health.

🎯 Course Games & Challenges:

• The Mystery Club Game was a crowd favorite, featuring left-handed junior clubs, a kiddie driver, and a wooden driver—which surprisingly became the preferred choice!
• Bedpan Ball Roll Raffle (sponsored by Christensen Communications Company) saw Bill McMullen win $500 for landing closest to the bedpan’s mouth.
• The Hole-in-One Challenge (sponsored by Madelia Ford) had two close calls, but no winners this year.
• 19th Hole Challenge: Matt Cone from Team Culligan landed his shot just 2’11” from the hole, winning $212.50—half the pot!
