Position Summary
The Clinic CMA / LPN works collaboratively with providers, registered nurses, and the care team to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. This role supports patients of all ages and performs clinical duties within the appropriate scope of practice, in accordance with Madelia Health policies and procedures.
Specific responsibilities may vary based on licensure (CMA or LPN), training, and clinic needs.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Provider

Support patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

Collect patient data through observation, vital signs, and patient interaction
-
Assist with patient flow, care coordination, and clinic workflows
-
Perform phone triage and patient communication as delegated
-
Collect and perform laboratory tests as trained and directed
-
Assist with emergency response and prioritize patient needs appropriately
-
Collaborate with the care team to support quality improvement initiatives
-
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health record systems
-
Travel between Madelia Health clinic locations as needed after cross-training

Qualifications
For CMA candidates:

Graduate of an approved Certified Medical Assistant program
-
Current, active CMA certification in the state of Minnesota

BLS/CPR certification required
-
One year of clinic or medical field experience preferred
For LPN candidates:

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program

Position Summary
The Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician performs waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing on biological specimens such as blood and urine to assist providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role is essential in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality laboratory services while maintaining compliance with laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively while multitasking in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform specimen processing, testing, and accurate reporting of results

Conduct waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing as authorized
-
Follow established laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and documentation

Perform and document quality control, calibrations, maintenance, and proficiency testing
-
Identify testing or equipment issues and take corrective action or notify leadership promptly
-
Maintain compliance with CLIA, TJC, hospital policies, and safety standards
-
Perform necessary functions within the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
-
Monitor and manage laboratory inventory
-
Assist with troubleshooting and coordinate equipment service or repairs as needed
-
Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, safety drills, and committees
-
Maintain clear communication with other departments to support continuity of care

Attend required workshops, in-services, and trainings

We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Part-Time Courier to safely and efficiently transport important items between Madelia Health locations and community partners. From delivering lab specimens and pharmacy items to interoffice mail and supplies, you’ll play a vital role in supporting daily hospital and clinic operations.
What You’ll Do

Perform scheduled and on-demand courier routes between Madelia, Truman, Lake Crystal, St. James, and New Ulm.

Safely transport lab specimens, mail, documents, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies, following chain-of-custody and infection-prevention protocols.

Maintain accurate logs for pickups, deliveries, mileage, and temperature-controlled items.

Operate Madelia Health vehicles safely in all weather and road conditions; use PPE as required.

Provide friendly, professional communication with caregivers, vendors, and partners.

Keep courier vehicles clean, organized, and stocked with transport supplies.

Perform other related duties that support the Clinic and organization.

What You’ll Do

Perform CT, portable X-rays, C-arm, DEXA, and diagnostic radiography (X-ray) exams.

Administer contrast materials under provider direction, following safety protocols.

The Baylor X-ray/CT Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services during weekend shifts, ensuring exceptional patient care outside of traditional weekday hours. This position offers a consistent weekend schedule with full-time pay and benefits, perfect for those seeking flexibility while still being part of a strong, supportive healthcare team.
What You’ll Do

Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures independently during weekend shifts.

Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and radiation safety at all times.

Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and on-call radiologists to deliver timely, accurate imaging services.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing troubleshooting as needed.

Document all procedures accurately within the EMR, PACS, and RIS systems.

Provide compassionate care to patients in both routine and urgent situations.

Participate in quality control and safety checks while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards.
What We’re Looking For
-
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) — required.

ARRT certification in CT (CT) — must have.

Minnesota State Radiologic Technologist license.

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

1–2 years of CT and X-ray experience strongly preferred.

Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Hourly Wage: $24.69 – $44.52 (Based on Experience and Certifications)
Location: Madelia, MN
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree (Preferred)
- Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Certifications: Speech Therapy License (MN)
- Background study and pre-employment drug testing required.
Responsibilities:
- Makes clinical judgments based on data gathered in evaluation
- Generates a therapy diagnosis and plan of care
- Involves patient and family in establishing goals of treatment
- Designs, implements, and modifies individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient’s needs
- Coordinates, communicates, and documents per program, regulatory and professional standards
- Utilizes both standardized and informal testing to determine best treatment for patient
