For more than two decades, the Madelia Health Foundation has partnered with donors, businesses, volunteers, and community members to strengthen local healthcare and improve the lives of patients throughout our region.
Founded in 2004 with a $100,000 gift from the hospital, the Foundation exists to support the long-term health and well-being of the communities served by Madelia Health. Since its inception, generous supporters have helped fund healthcare technology, emergency services, scholarships, patient care enhancements, and facility improvements that keep quality healthcare close to home.
Today, the Foundation continues to serve as a bridge between community generosity and healthcare excellence.

My connection to Madelia Health began long before I joined the Foundation. I was born at Madelia Hospital and delivered by Dr. Eiselt. Growing up, I watched my grandfather proudly serve the hospital as a part-time custodian for more than 25 years. Years later, before becoming Executive Director, I had the privilege of serving on the Madelia Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Because of those experiences, Madelia Health has always meant more to me than a workplace. It is part of what makes Madelia such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.
Today, I have the privilege of working alongside donors, volunteers, caregivers, and community partners who share a common belief: that quality healthcare should remain available close to home. Every gift, partnership, and act of generosity helps strengthen healthcare for our families, friends, neighbors, and future generations.
I am proud to serve a community that continues to invest in the health and well-being of those who call this region home.
