Madelia Health Foundation St. James Golf Tournament Results
MADELIA, MN – The Madelia Health Foundation’s Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, August 26th at the St. James Golf Course, with 52 golfers participating in support of Madelia Health. This year’s tournament raised over $13,000, with proceeds going towards the Keep Care Close Campaign. Funds will be used to strengthen the financial stability of Madelia Health and ensure access to essential healthcare close to home for generations to come.

In addition, there were several volunteers who helped make this year’s event a success. The day included 18 holes of golf, hole-in-one and flag contests, raffle prizes, and dinner served by Rivers Edge Grill.
The Foundation awarded cash prizes for the first, ninth, and sixteenth place teams. Dave Walz’s team emerged victoriously in this year’s tournament, edging out See the Trainer and Knutson Construction with an impressive score of 58. Additional highlights include our winners for Closest to the Pin (Jeff Barrett, Pioneer Bank), Men’s Longest Drive (Tyler Brown, See the Trainer), Women’s Longest Drive (Alison Elg, Pioneer Bank) and Longest Putt (Charlie Carlson, Harder Agency).
Thank you to the many businesses and individuals who donated to make this event successful! It was a fantastic day on the course with humor, great weather, camaraderie and impressive golf. We look forward to seeing the community at our next event, Queen of Hearts for a Cause on October 22nd, organized in collaboration with Madelia Legion Post 19.
